Christoph Kuschnig is a director, writer, editor, conceptual- & broadcast designer.

After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg, Kuschnig started his career in shooting and directing award winning music videos and commercials as well as writing several screenplays for an award winning TV show in Austria.

In 2007, he moved to New York City to pursue a MFA in film at Columbia University, to follow his real passion. Kuschnig is drawn to exploring the dark side of the human psyche, combining a very sensitive and visual approach.

Eiko, his most recent short, shot in Austria, deals with child abuse and the peculiar processing such traumata. The media presence of child abuse scandals in Austria inspired him to reverse the role of the victim and turn her into an offender.

Christoph works as an independent director/producer and on a freelance basis in the fields mentioned above.
